Life as it is!

So my big boy is now eating with utensils! He does NOT like using the plastic baby fork and spoon, but he wants what Momma and Daddy have! I must also mention that he ate EVERY bite of his pasta and green beans! YUM!! This is a profile picture of my sweet little Cara Lynne Little! She will be here sometime in late November or early December! We will find out the 21st of September!!!

So I have not blogged since I found out I was pregnant with Miss Cara Lynne! IT is a GIRL! I had SO many thoughts going through my head those first few months I did not know how to put it down on paper (computer). I have started a little book for her just as I did for Clayton, but I wanted to keep that personnal for her to read when she becomes of age. There are still SO many thoughts that rage through me, but I think it is time for me to start getting them out of my head and down on screen!

We have been working frantically to clean out our spare bedroom for Clayton to move into so his new baby SISTER (I still can't get over it that it is a girl!) can move into the nursery! I have been trying to make up my mind on what we are going to decorate her new room in, and I think I have come to the conclusion of dragonflys. WE are going to keep the same bedding that Clayton had, but change the wall decorations from baseball to dragonflys. I am not really that much of a girly girl so we are not going to do a blast of pepto bismol in her room!

I would like her to have a room that shows her colors other than PINK, PINK, PINK! I am also afraid that since she is a girl I might go a little bit overboard with decorations when I did not on Clayton. Little boys are SO much easier to decorate for because they really do not need much! Maybe she does not either and I am just going crazy with it! Sounds like me!

December 6, 2009!!!

So about two weeks ago today I felt like my life was going to change for the second time. On April 4th I started throwing up...a lot and was three days past my period. I was not feeling good, but thought there is NO way I could be expecting AGAIN. I let a few days pass and I threw up every morning and night and felt like Poo. So on the 7th of April I got up that morning throwing up and lots of nausea and the water works started! That night was a softball game in Lamar and I went to it with Clayton. After the game was over I took my husband to El Parian and then had him take Clayton home so I could go get some sinus medicine. I knew on that day that I WAS pregnant, but wanted to take a test just to confirm my feelings.

I went to Fred's and they were out of pregnancy tests (tells you how many people are preggers or think they are preggers in Clarksville). So I called my husband and told him I was headed to Wal-Mart and would be a little be late. So I picked up sinus medicine, tampons, a pregnancy test, Dove Chocolates (for Matt), and Large Reese's Cups (for me). When I got home I kissed Clayton and told Matt I had to go potty and then I would be back.
I took the Wal-Mart sack in with me and took the first test, and my fear was comfirmed...I am PREGNANT! The two lines popped up SO fast!! I was shocked and so I tucked the test in my pants and walked out to the living room where I told my husband to turn off the T.V. He was laying in the floor and I asked, "Do you want me to make your day worse or maybe it will make it better. I am not sure?" He said what is going on. I yelled "I'm PREGNANT!" He just stared at me and kept on saying are you serious? So I pulled out the test and he told me to go pee on the other one. I did and sure enough two RED lines! He was so excited and I was just balling!!!

I really felt better when Clayton crawled over to me and kissed me and hugged my neck and I just could not stop crying and Matt could not stop jumping up and down! So we could not keep this a secret so we called his bestfriend Cliff and then sent a text to his sister Misti. I soon called my brother and his wife and that was it! We just turned the TV off and tried to take it all in! I am still trying to take it all in.

We told the families these last two weekends and I went to the doctor yesterday, April 20, 2009. We met with a wonderful Dr. Stephanie Case. She too is expecting and is Such a wonderful woman.

Yes! I am scared.

Yes! I do worry about the future.
Yes! I wonder if there is ENOUGH love.

But....I know that God would not give us more than we can handle and when I feel at my lowest he will be there to help me along! Matt looks at is as if we are blessed because we had such a difficult time conceiving Clayton...surgery, hormone therapy, clomid and then baby. This time we did it the natural way and now Baby #2 will be here in 33 weeks!!! WOW!!!

Holding it in!

I have SO much to say but I can't! Can't wait until I CAN!!

God is good and I am now able to face the fact that my life is turning in a good direction. It has just taken me a while to accept it and understand it! I love my life and I love my family!

La Mardi Gras-Prom 2009

Clayton dancing with his daddy!
Matt's senior ball girls!

Clayton and the Queen!

Clayton got to attend his very FIRST prom last night. Lamar High School put on their annual prom and it was FANTASTIC! Mrs. Bollman and Coach Meador did a FANTABULOUS job decorating and getting the kids really involved with helping. It was so amazing. I was very impressed with the purple walls, the masks, the french quarter, and the gesture.
We had SO much fun! Can't wait until next years!

Lazy Friday!

Today was a very unusual Friday. Like most days I get up at 7:30 and let the Sandlin's in with Mr. Jake and give Clayton and Jake both their morning feedings. At around 8:30 they go down for their morning naps. At around 10 today Mrs. Nikki came to get her little boy and take him home so it was just Clayton and I until 3, when his daddy came home I went to my very 1st massage EVER! At first I was really scared but Mrs. Brenda got me really calm and did an excellent job. My back is a little sore, but I think that comes with the extra pressure. IDK...maybe.

After I got home we went to Larry's Pizza and met up with Matt's mom and her three sisters, three nieces, and Misti. It was WONDERFUL. They all thought it was cute watching Clayton eat chocolate off of the chocolate chip pizza. Still not a fan of letting people give my son bad food, but I can't stop them...they think it is SO cute and I just CRING! I really do HATE it, but Matt tells me to calm down and I try! Oh I try!

We left directly from Larry's and headed to the high school to help with Prom decorations. It is going to look AMAZING! The theme is "La Mardy Gras." I will upload pics tomorrow of the ending project! Clayton did amazing and LOVED playing in the balloons! Oh how he is growing and learning! Scares me to think I will have one of those little darling teens in 14 years...oh MY!

Eleven months have past...one to go!!!

I thank God for this baby daily! I love those 4 little teeth and one popping through!

This time last year I was heading to Little Rock, AR to stay with my grandparents for the last month of my pregnancy. I knew that in three weeks I would have a beautiful little boy! Unkown to me...God LOVES to laugh at our plans...he came almost five weeks later. He has been such a joy in my life and God has blessed Matt and I eminsely! I am shocked at all the amazing and wonderful things he experiences and does on a daily basis.

For instance on Tuesday night I was sitting in the living room floor playing with him, but got distracted by the T.V. show I was watching. I heard this cute little giggle that I had yet to hear and looked over to see what my son was doing. He was IN the rocking chair! I was SHOCKED! I laughed and clapped and he did the same! Thank goodness he learned at 10 months old how to get down from things so I knew that climbing was right around the corner. It was so hilarious. He even did it again when his daddy got home after the softball game! That baby amazes me! I still can't beleive that 11 months has flown by...tick tocking down to his big 1st Birthday! Can't wait...just pray that it all goes as planned!
The camera was not in the room when he climbed up in the chair, but here is a picture of him getting off of the bed! Love HIM!

Break is OVER and Jake is BACK!

YAY!! Jake came back today! Since I stay home with Clayton, Matt and I joked around with some friends of ours and said, "You should let Judi take care of Jake when we go back to school." Not really thinking they would say yes...they DID! I have Jake five times a week and LOVE it! Clayton REALLY loves it! When Jake gets sick and does not show up when Clayton wakes up he goes to Jake's door (the room Jake sleeps in...my spare bedroom) and hollers...GACK. It breaks my heart...but he is BACK and life went on as normal today. I also found out today that over the break two precious babies were born...congrats to Haley and Brandon Duff and congrats to Cassandra and Michael Sanchez! They both had beautiful baby boys! I also found out that another one of Matt's old students is in labor as we speak. She is on number two and also her second boy! I just hope this following week stays normal...so ready for Matt to GRADUATE!!!

These are the boys at 8 weeks! WOW! Can not believe how small they were!!

Here they are at 11 months! Time really DOES fly!

Spring Break is OVER!

I LOVE my husband and LOVE the time he can be home with Clayton and I. My three favorite times of the year are Summer Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. Matt has LOTS to do within these next few weeks before he can actually breathe. My poor husband has been such a trooper trying to make Clayton and I's life so much better. Not only is he working full time as a Geometry teacher at Lamar High School, but he is also the head softball coach, and about to graduate with his master's in educational leadership from Harding University. I am SO proud of my husband. I know I have given him ALOT of heck these last few month about not being home, but I really do appreciate all the things he does for us.

For spring break we decided to head up to Norfork, AR to visit my dad, step-mom, and sister Brittney. The trip from Clarksville takes us about 4 hours to get there. I tried to pack as much as I could the night before we left and we planned on heading out by 4 p.m last friday. We left the house and got about four blocks down the road and Clayton threw up! No fun. We stopped and cleaned it up. I thought it was just because his daddy fed him a BUNCH of junk food before we left. We get to Hagarville and Rags (our shihtzu) threw up. We drive a little bit longer and Clayton decides he wants to eat and have mommy feed him, so we stop just 5 miles out of Hagarville. That is done and we get back on the road. We finally make it to Jasper and Clayton throws up AGAIN. He was not liking the car ride. We got him cleaned up and drove to Belefonte and eat at Sonic. He LOVED that because we gave him a Banana and Apple Juice and let him "drive" the car in the sonic parking lot...we were sitting still! I miss a turn and we end up 20 minutes out of the way and turn back around to hit Hwy 206?? Still not sure. We finally make it to Yellville and we stop yet again to let me go use the restroom and Clayton wanted me to sit in the back with him and let his daddy drive. From there on it was SMOOTH sailing...oh yeah he did throw up again the next day and I put him on a pedialyte diet for the rest of the weekend and he did much better! I still say he got car sick and his daddy thinks he was sick, sick but he did not have a fever...either way it is over. Here are a few pics from our weekend!

This was Sunday morning after Clayton started to feel better I remembered that I had my camera. Daddy took him on the deck in the warm sun! It felt GREAT and he had a ball!

The is the view off of Dad's deck. We have a lovely view of the Norfork water tower and Hwy 5. Just over that ridge is the river and the little town of Norfork, AR.

So earlier I told you that my son had been throwing up all weekend...well my dad's decided taht ice cream would make him feel better and surprisingly he was GREAT that day!

Clayton LOVED pushing the buttons on Pawpa's TV! He would turn it off and Dad would turn it on!

Clayton's Aunt Brittney thought it would be cute to teach Clayton to write. He LOVED it! He did not write much, but thought Brittney was a hoot! He Loves his Aunt!

After we left the hills of Norfork we headed to Morrilton to spend the week with Matt's parents and my grandparents at their lake house on Overcupp Lake. We had a ball there also! The only bad thing that happened was when we got to Matt's parents house their dog, who is about 8 months old jumped on Clayton's face and scratched his eyeball and right side of his head. She was excited to see people and jumped right on Clayton. I was pretty mad, but all I could do was cuddle my baby and from now on I know not to lay or put Clayton down until "spacey" Macy calms down. That is what we call her now.

Later on in the week we went out to the land my granparents own in Caney Valley, AR. Clayton got to sit on Papa's new tractor and ride the 4-wheeler for the first time. Daddy is not in these pics because he had to go to the store and work on his portfolio for graduation. So we took pics to show him what we did! Clayton was okay about it...really did not know what to expect about the whole thing!

Clayton and his oldest cousin, Paula!

Clayton's Nana (great-grandma) is holding him. He is about to get on the BIG tractor!

I had to display Papa's lean to on his lean to! It cracks me up! One side is for the 4-wheeler and the other side is for the tractor!

Here he is on the big tractor. He kept on wanting to stand up on the seat and hold the steering wheel and in the process he fell off so Nana got on it and put him IN the steering wheel! He LOVED it!

Here is his first time on the 4-wheeler. We never got out of first gear and all he could do was grunt!

This is what the boys did when we got home!
There are so many other things that we did this past weeken, like have his Easter pics and 10 month old pics done at Mike Little Photography, and he got to see Greg and Christy Parks who we had not seen in several months! I love those people! So that is our spring break in a nutshell. Not to short, but I can't write short stories...just ask my biology professor! Hope you enjoy it....we sure did!

Heading North

We are Leaving for VACA!! YAY!!! Thankfully we have new neighbors who are going to watch the house for us this weekend! We are heading to Norfork, AR to see my dad, step-mom, and little sister! She is growing up WaY too fast for me! Since Clayton has come along I have tried to see them more than once a year. I am ready for them to move back to the Central part of Arkansas. It takes us about 4 hours to get there...gotta love those winding roads...I am already getting sick just thinking about the ride. Please pray for us that Clayton does good on the ride and sleeps or plays the WHOLE way! Write when I get back! Oh and we are heading to Motown on Monday until Friday! Can't wait to see EVERYONE! They are all going to be astonished at how much Clayton has grown and learned! Love that BABY! Oh yeah...Birthday invitations are OUT the door...be prepared to recieve YOURS!

Spring is here!!!

You know that spring is here when you start getting people knocking on your door asking if you need your lawn cut and weed eated. I was pretty MORTIFIED. That night I asked my husband if he would PLEASE mow the lawn after church...and he DID! I was so glad. After he got done mowing I decided to work in my flower bed while the baby slept. It was WONDERFUL! We also bought a BRAND NEW hedger which cuts like BUTTER! I was able to do the little shrubs and decided to tackle the HUGE holly tree that needed to be tamed. I tried and I failed so my wonderful husband had time off last night from all the softball games and cut it!

Here is the before pic!

Our beautiful little boy woke up and joined us!

DONE!! Looks a little lopsided, but Matt was wore out and so was I! It is good enough for nonprofessionals!

They both were wore OUT!
So glad that is over and done with for another few months...probably do it again in June or July...depends on RAIN! Oh yeah...Clayton has his VERY first tomato the other day and LOVED it!

Very FIRST blog

So this is my very first blog...EVER!!! I never really meant to become a blogger, but unknown to her...Kelly Stamps and Hillary Bazyk made me do it! I never really was a huge blogger, but would check Hillary's blog to see how they were doing once Josh and her moved to Little Rock. See Josh was the youth pastor at the church I attended and my husband and I helped with the youth.

I guess maybe I should Thank HIM!

We got to know Josh before there was a Hillary Russell and then when Hillary came along it got EVEN better! So when Josh got a job in Little Rock it was REALLY hard not getting to keep up with him, but since she had a blog I read it...ALOT.

Then one night at 1:10a.m. I received a text message from Josh asking me to pray for a little girl by the name of Harper Stamps. I had heard about Kelly's struggles with getting pregnant from Hillary because I was going through the EXACT same struggles as she. I did not hear much more about her unless Hillary blogged about her pregnancy! Which I said a prayer for her baby to "stick" after they found out they were expecting. I knew that people prayed for my little boy to "stick" and he did so I said one for her and she did!
So that is my gab for today...so thanks to those two WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL women I am now a blogger! Let's see how much I really blog! HA!! The call of my blue eyed boy is getting LOUDER!
